Safety Topic of the Week
Hampshire Farm works in all weather conditions; heat, rain, cold, snow. It is essential to dress accordingly to avoid incidents, accidents and unnecessary exposure.
- Dress in layers as it is easier to take a layer off than put a layer on especially if you are wet or muddy.
- Wear proper footwear such as winter boots or rain boots to keep your feet dry and warm.
- Wear proper outer layers like winter coats and rain jackets when necessary.
- Avoid getting overheated by drinking plenty of water, taking frequent breaks out of the sun, wear sunscreen and protect your eyes.
